Alpharetta, Ga.-based StatCom is introducing Hospital Operating System, a patient throughput solution designed to enable hospitals to achieve maximum operational performance and substantial reductions in average length of stay while enhancing the patient and staff experience, it says.

With the new solution, actions across the hospital are prioritized, enabling patients to flow at the best possible rate in terms of service, quality, safety and resource consumption, says StatCom. By optimizing the whole facility, hospitals can achieve a significant competitive advantage by increasing bed turns, accelerating discharges and reducing diverts and delayed cases, it touts.
