3M, McKesson, Executive Health Resources Partner on RAC

(10/8/2009)

Salt Lake City, Utah-based 3M Health Information Systems, McKesson Health Solutions (Alpharetta, Ga.), and Executive Health Resources, Inc. (Newton Square, Pa.) have signed a strategic agreement to offer RAC Advanced Services, a program of auditing and consulting services to assist hospitals in preparing for the government’s Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) program, say the companies.

The integrated services are designed to help hospitals uncover and address the root causes of improper payments from medically unnecessary and incorrectly coded inpatient and outpatient claims, they say.
