One-on-One With CIO Rich Temple

Rich Temple was CIO of Denville, NJ.-based St. Clare's Heath System, a four-hospital system recently acquired by Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), the nation's second largest Catholic health system. He recently spoke with Daphne Lawrence about his experience as CIO during the merger. Temple is currently chief information and business intelligence officer of AristaCare Health Services in South Plainfield, NJ.

One-on-One With Seattle Children's Hospital CIO Drex DeFord

Seattle Children's Hospital serves as the pediatric referral center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. The organization's facilities include 250 inpatient beds, a Level IV Infant Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, and Rehabilitation/Complex Care Unit. HCI Editor-in-Chief Anthony Guerra recently had a chance to chat with CIO Drex DeFord about his work at the hospital and industry trends.

One-on-One With El Camino Hospital CIO Greg Walton

El Camino Hospital, a not-for-profit organization in Mountain View, Calif., is located on a 41-acre campus in Silicon Valley. Operating statistics show the hospital has almost 400 licensed beds, more than 2,200 employees and a medical staff of 830 physicians. The organization was one of the first in the country to go live with computerized physician order entry. Recently, HCI Editor-in-Chief Anthony Guerra had a chance to talk with CIO Greg Walton about the current state of affairs at El Camino.
