Washington Debrief: Meaningful Use Payments Edge Across $10B Line in 2012

Upcoming Webinar to Look at CQM Electronic Reporting Pilot Interested CHIME members are encouraged to attend next week’s webinar to learn about CMS’s Clinical Quality Measures Electronic Reporting Pilot.  The EHR Incentive Program 2012 Reporting Pilot is a voluntary electronic reporting option to satisfy the Clinical Quality Measures (CQM) objective for the EHR Incentive Program.  The EHR 2012 Reporting Pilot will give participants an opportunity to submit test data beginning July 3, 2012 and will remain available throughout the reporting and submission period.  The pilot is a good opportunity for those who are looking to attest to Stage 2 beginning in October 2013, as they will have to submit CQMs electronically under the final rules passed last September.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from CMS’s Deborah Krauss who will describe the pilot and explain how hospitals can participate.  CHIME members will also be eligible to receive 1 CEU for attending this Public Policy webinar.  Be on the lookout for registration details.
