Structured cabling within a hospital or outpatient facility provides the platform upon which all of the communications, building systems, and clinical technologies are deployed. From wireless networks to security systems, telemedicine to digital image transfers, all of the data and sometimes even the power to support these applications is being transmitted via network cabling.
