This webinar will detail the importance of finding a solution that works with a hospital’s EMR and specialty units. With over 3,000 labor and delivery (L&D) units in the USA, and greater claim volatility in obstetrics than any other high-risk hospital unit, the specialty workflow in L&D is critical. Fetal heart monitoring, for example, is essential to labor and delivery care, and rapid interpretation can make a difference in successfully delivering a healthy newborn.

Speakers will discuss what providers should look for in finding a interoperable solution to help clinical efficiency while still meeting the hospital IT goals and achieving patient satisfaction.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand key workflow needs and market dynamics to consider when selecting a labor and delivery solution.
  • Explain how interoperability can help manage perinatal workflow.
  • Learn different approaches hospitals have taken to enable their labor and delivery system and hospital EMR to work together.
