Join Healthcare Informatics and Cognizant for an exclusive webinar discussion on how leading health systems are leveraging comprehensive financial analysis to measure the potential impacts of ICD-10 on reimbursements; and frameworks for developing mitigation plans to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements, including the identification of specific areas of risk, such as issues with individual payers, DRGs or procedures.

ICD-10 transition will touch virtually every component of a provider’s administrative and clinical functions -- from business operations, to people, to IT systems. ICD-10 will not only impact medical documentation and coding, but will also affect payer reimbursements and cash flows.  This webinar will demonstrate how careful financial impact analysis and a collaborative approach can help hospitals maintain financial integrity and improve operations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand why financial integrity is key to a successful ICD-10 transition
  • Assess the potential impacts of ICD-10 on revenue, AR, and staff productivity
  • Identify strategies to help close the reimbursement gap
