Dr. Charlotte Hovet, Global Medical Director of Healthcare and Life Sciences within Dell Services, is a strategic, experienced, contemporary physician leader with a passion for transforming healthcare and optimizing the health and well-being of all people. She is a board-certified family physician and clinical informatics specialist, with expertise in mentoring and motivating colleagues to embrace innovative and effective solutions to support excellence in patient care.

Dr. Hovet and her team at Dell provide a wide range of healthcare solutions, partnering with health system customers to use technology to improve patient outcomes and lower costs. The team helps provider organizations implement and optimize clinical information systems; integrate analytics into health system operations; transform clinical workflows to improve care; and actively engage patients and families to improve health outcomes.

Dr. Hovet received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and a Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University. She completed her family practice residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Colorado. Dr. Hovet is certified as a Physician Executive with the Certifying Commission in Medical Management.

Joseph Kim, MD, MPH

Dr. Joseph Kim is President of MCM Education, a private company that provides continuing medical education and quality improvement solutions to clinicians and health care organizations. Dr. Kim speaks at conferences and facilitates workshops about the evolving ways that clinicians are working in teams and utilizing technology to improve systems of care. He is also an advisor to several digital health organizations.

Dr. Kim has served as faculty for the American Association for Physician Leadership and has published articles on digital health and leadership in the Physician Executive Journal. Dr. Kim holds a bachelor of science in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a doctor of medicine from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, and a master of public health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health.
