On Oct. 2, 2014, Healthcare Informatics and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) co-hosted a Twitter chat on meaningful use.

Led by CHIME Vice President of Policy, Jeffrey Smith and HCI Editor-in-Chief, Mark Hagland, the two sides interacted with a lively group of tweeters on the prominent issues of meaningful use. This included the recent final Stage 2 flexibility rule released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the challenging view, download, and transmit and transitions of care measures, vendor readiness, and more.

Below is a recap of the chat, which involved  66 participants, and more than 580 tweets. HCI is planning on hosting more tweet chats. If you have any ideas, please let us know by following @HCInformatics or writing a comment below.
