I have not had much time to spend on the blog since our office has just moved, but wanted to pass along an update to my first entries on IT and medical devices. The RFID Educational Foundation is leading an effort to form the RFID in Healthcare Consortium. The consortium includes business, government and healthcare leaders and is being formed to educate the healthcare industry on typical global deployment methods and best practices for RFID technologies across all areas of the industry. The goal is to provide unbiased information on what RFID can and cannot do. The first meeting was held last month. Great news!

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
