Healthcare IT News reports Google Health is live as of yesterday. Google Health is delivered in “beta,” but it seems like the only thing without a “beta” tag at Google is the main page. They take their iterative development seriously.

I am a huge fan of Google, and this is a very exciting idea. The vision for Google Health is to be a platform for health-related applications, as well as a PHR. There is a lot of information out there about Google Health, but the most informative thing I’ve seen is the presentation given by Dr. Eric Schmidt, Google CEO, at HIMSS 2008. There are a few good questions from the audience at the end, as well. Check it out if you’re interested.
