The Washington, D.C.-based National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) today released its report, "Secrets of HIE Success Revealed: Lessons from the Leaders" during a live webinar. The report features case studies of 12 sustainable, mature health information exchange (HIE) organizations from across the US. The HIEs represent a diverse group of organizations, including for-profit entities, non-profit entities and a government agency.
"Secrets of HIE Success Revealed" was developed based on candid and extensive interviews with senior executives from each of the 12 HIEs. These organizations were chosen to be profiled based on their innovative strategies and business models, the value and impact they are having in their respective communities, and their maturity in achieving sustainability.
The HIEs profiled in NeHC’s report include:
• Big Bend RHIO
• Inland Northwest Health Services
• Quality Health Network
• Rochester RHIO
• U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
