Accenx, an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of interoperability and integration in electronic healthcare records, has received $3 million in a round of Series A financing.

According to Accenx, Long Beach, Calif.-based National Healthcare Services (NHS), a healthcare investment company owned by MemorialCare Medical Centers (Long Beach, Calif.), led the round and contributed the majority of the funds.

Accenx contends its interoperability solution, RyTRAK ACM, enables hospitals, laboratories and physician offices to electronically send and receive clinical information, including lab values, pathology and radiology results, clinical notes, discharge summaries and other clinical department information.
