Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Anthem Blue Cross announced the launch of a new California website designed to provide reliable, up-to-the-minute information about health, nutrition, fitness, health care options and more for today's busy woman.

Women have unique medical care needs, and many have their own specific health and fitness goals. This new site provides the answers, information and resources women are looking for, all in one convenient place, available 24/7 to fit in with their schedules.

Anthem selected SmartNow to develop the content for the site. SmartNow works with the top two hundred women's health experts across the country, so the content is relevant, reliable and current. In addition, the information is designed to meet women's personal, professional and business needs. Whether someone is the owner of a company, a consumer or an Anthem member with a specific health question, the site will provide suitable information, and unlike static websites, this one engages women in a community, around conditions, issues and those with similar interests.
