After completing a study of clinical and technical architecture, Baylor Medical Center at Frisco in Texas is implementing a paperless structure from Carbondale, Colo.-based Orchestrate Healthcare in partnership with Kennett Square, Pa.-based Vitalize Consulting Solutions.

The research project incorporated examining a variety of areas including patient access, medical records and nursing, Orchestrate says. Baylor Medical Center at Frisco is currently utilizing Westwood, Mass.-based MEDITECH standard modules and needed a solution to seamlessly interface with its nursing, EMR and CPOE, it states.

Baylor Medical Center at Frisco, a 68-bed organization, was founded in 2002 and serves patients in Frisco and the surrounding communities.
