Blessing Hospital (Quincy, Ill.) will deploy Atlanta-based Eclipsys’ Sunrise Enterprise revenue cycle solutions in an effort to bridge the data gap between care delivery environments and financial and administrative areas, says the company.

The hospital plans to implement integrated applications within Eclipsys’ Sunrise Enterprise suite of solutions, which will cover the entire revenue cycle. The company says this will leverage Blessing Hospital’s Sunrise Enterprise clinical solutions, which also reside on the Eclipsys XA platform. It also states that Blessing’s authorized system users will gain single log-on access to patient demographics, scheduling information and electronic medical records to create a seamless care environment across multiple venues.

Blessing Hospital is part of Blessing Health System, which includes two hospitals, a physician group, a four-year nursing education program, a foundation and a group of medical specialty businesses.
