Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil) is contracting with Belgium-based Barco to provide high-grade PACS display systems.

The new systems will be installed in the hospital’s reporting rooms and replace the existing film-based radiology workflow. The implementation is part of a larger PACS project that includes replacing the hospital’s old modalities with DICOM compliant devices, installing a DICOM server and storage, and setting up new workstations for image visualization and diagnosis, according to the company.

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
