Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute (Detroit) has signed an agreement with Atlanta-based Eclipsys to deploy its Sunrise Enterprise suite of clinical and revenue cycle solutions.

Karmanos will implement Sunrise Clinical Manager and its integrated modules, including Sunrise Acute Care, Sunrise Pharmacy, and Knowledge-Based Medication Administration to provide a closed-loop medication process and to streamline the information workflows and care coordination among physicians, pharmacists and nurses, says the company.

The Center is also deploying Eclipsys’ Sunrise Ambulatory Care to automate care delivery in its outpatient treatment centers.
