Carestream Health Inc. (Rochester, N.Y.) has recently signed contracts for its Kodak Mammography CAD System with the following facilities:

  • Breast Center of Lansing (Lansing, Mich.)
  • Laurel Diagnostics (Laurel, Md.)
  • Metroplex Hospital (Killeen, Texas)
  • Mountain Community Hospital (Lake Arrowhead, Calif.)

According to Carestream, computer-aided detection (CAD) software uses sophisticated algorithms to help identify suspicious areas on imaging exams, so radiologists can closely examine these regions for possible disease during a second review.

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
