Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (Cincinnati, Ohio) is installing the My Patient Passport Express kiosk from Mequon, Wis.-based D2 Sales for its patient check-in program.

The kiosk allows patients to check in, make future appointments, and update their medical history, all using touchscreen monitor. Patients can use their credit card to make co-pay payments and sign documents using the integrated electronic signature pad, says the company.

Cincinnati Children’s is a full-service, not-for-profit pediatric academic medical center with 511 beds. It is affiliated with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and is one of the top two recipients of pediatric research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
