Community Hospital to Leverage its EMR

Monterey, Calif.-based Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula plans to implement Sunrise Ambulatory Care EMR from Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corp. in its outpatient facilities.

With this implementation, the company says, the hospital will be able to leverage its Sunrise Clinical Manager inpatient EMR with its outpatient EMR.

Founded in 1934, Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula is a nonprofit, integrated healthcare delivery system that serves the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding communities. The healthcare system has 15 locations, including outpatient facilities and satellite laboratories.
