EHR Vendors Association Names Chairman

Justin Barnes, vice president of marketing and government affairs at

Greenway Medical Technologies Inc.

, (Carrollton, Ga.) was recently elected new chairman of the

Electronic Health Record Vendors Association


The association, with approximately 42 member companies, is partnered with the Chicago-based Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). EHRVA represents the majority of installed EHR solutions across the country and provides a leadership forum for the EHR community, it touts.

Barnes, who was elected on July 1 along with a vice chairman, will serve a one-year term with EHRVA.
