Stamford, Conn.-based

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, Inc.

is introducing the Breast Imaging Diagnostic Workstation (BIDW) to complement Fujifilm’s Computed Radiography for Mammography (FCRm) solution and provide better workstation interpretation capabilities for facilities that use other vendors’ PACS, it says.

According to the company, the standalone workstation is designed to be a supplement to any facility’s existing PACS, and to meet the market need for more clinically and operationally advanced systems to support breast imaging. It also supports CAD and MQSA overlays and offers Fujifilm’s patented reading protocol technology.
