Great Plains Regional Medical Center (GPRMC) in North Platte, Neb., has signed an agreement to purchase Medseek's SiteMaker E tool to rebuild Great Plains' consumer website. Medseek is a provider of enterprise e-health solutions based in Birmingham, Ala.

According to Medseek, the web technology will enable GPRMC to create a website of health and services information to meet the information demands of its patient community. The 116-bed medical center will implement SiteMaker E; a rapid-development content management system designed to expand the functionality of GPRMC's consumer website and improve site navigation, says the company.

GPRMC will also receive three custom forms - including a pre-registration form, an employee application form, and a donation gift-giving form - with built-in web components that enable patients to interact online with hospital professionals, contends Medseek.
