The Chicago-based Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Toronto-based COACH (Canada’s Health Informatics Association) joined up to launch the combined Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Canadian Credential for Canadian Health Informatics (HI) professionals.

According to the companies, this collaboration will help both organizations meet the growing need for objective measures of skills and knowledge in healthcare information and management systems for Canadian professionals.

The combined credential will be available next spring.

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
