For the first time, the Joint Commission Resources (JCR) is accepting proposals for presentations to be given at the 2008 Medication Safety Conference (Chicago).

Presentations will focus on "best practices" related to medication management, and should address new processes, technologies and tools that provide innovative methods for improving the safety and efficiency of medication management, says the organization.

According to the JCR, a not-for-profit affiliate of The Joint Commission (Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.), proposals should be submitted for consideration by October 16, 2007.

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
