LighthouseMD (Providence, R.I.), a provider of revenue cycle management, integrated practice management and EMR solutions, has launched CareTracker EMR.

According to LighthouseMD, the Web-based EMR system allows physicians and nurses to access clinical data elements such as patient symptoms, medical histories, diagnoses, clinical tests and therapies.

Tasks such as tracking medication history or drug interaction, accessing lab reports or electronically filling prescriptions can now be done online through CareTracker EMR's network, contends the company. In addition, LighthouseMD says physicians and nurses can record structured and customized notes, review previous patient visits, and research symptoms or diagnoses using a PC or handheld device.
