The Canadian province of Manitoba has chosen dbMotion, a provider of health interoperability and intelligence solutions, to connect acute and community care providers throughout the province.

As a result of the technology, each resident’s health history – including medications, labs, diagnostic images and hospital records – will be accessible to authorized caregivers.

Design and implementation of the project, being conducted in partnership with IBM Canada, is expected to start immediately with implementation beginning in 2010.

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
