Northridge Hospital Medical Center, located in Northridge, Calif., has selected Medhost's (Addison, Texas) full-suite software for patient registration and emergency department (ED) efficiencies.

Northridge, the flagship hospital of San Francisco-based Catholic Healthcare West, a 42-hospital system, will use the company's Administrative ToolKit for charge capture and documentation in the ED, and to modify existing system documentation templates, says the company. In addition, the company adds, Northridge will use Medhost's auto-paging feature to enhance communication between departments.
