Manhattan Research (New York), a healthcare market research and services firm, has released its white paper "Physicians and Web 2.0: Five Things You Should Know about the Evolving Online Landscape for Physicians."

Manhattan Research contends the white paper addresses questions such as "what is Web 2.0" and "what preferences are U.S. physicians demonstrating today?" According to the study, physicians are embracing the 2.0 generation, which is characterized by the rise of user participation and user generated content, integrating content across sites, and the demand for portable content.
