St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital of Tampa have selected a Resource Management System (RMS) by Unibased Systems Architecture Inc.(Chesterfield, Mo.) to provide patient services throughout its facilities.

According to Unibased, RMS is designed to enable access -- including pre-registration and registration -- to previous visits, while also providing conflict free service and procedure scheduling. In addition, the company contends RMS creates a complete patient schedule itinerary, monitoring registration activity prior to the visit.

St. Joseph's Hospital is a not-for-profit 883-bed facility located in Tampa, Fla. St. Joseph's Children's Hospital of Tampa., also located in Tampa, Fla. is a 164-bed full-service medical center.
