Trinity Medical Center, a 60-bed hospital in Brenham, Texas, has selected Alpharetta, Ga.-based Optio for forms automation, patient signature capture and EHR solutions.

The company says its technology provides small, rural hospitals with affordable solutions to upgrade paper-based systems with online access to up-to-date patient records and forms automation technology.

The software solution suite is scheduled to be up and running by February 2008.
