IntrinsiQ, LLC (Waltham, Mass.) and DSS, Inc. (Juno Beach, Fla.) have inked a deal to provide a customized version of IntrinsiQ’s clinical software, IntelliDose to more than 130 oncology departments across the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital network.

VistA Chemotherapy Manager will calculate, manage and track complex chemotherapy regimens to standardize treatment decisions and streamline operational practices, say the companies. It is designed to produce legible, complete, and electronically verified orders to ensure dosing accuracy.

Through the agreement, DSS will customize and integrate IntelliDose into the VA’s VistA health information system suite to facilitate seamless patient information sharing, the companies tout.
