(3/28/2007)
Washington, D.C.-headquartered America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) has partnered up with Bethesda, Md.-based software company, Health Literacy Innovations to create a new health communication tool.

Designed for companies and individuals that are interested in promoting clear health communication and improving printed materials for consumers and patients, the interactive software tool is being touted by the company as the nation’s first health literacy checker.
