Mark Hagland has spent more than twenty years in healthcare publishing and has won numerous national journalism awards. He was a Contributing Editor to the publication for more than a decade, the author of two books on healthcare quality and efficiency, and a sought-after speaker. Mark received his B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his master's in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Gabriel Perna has been an editor at Healthcare Informatics since 2011, covering healthcare IT leadership and strategy for the renowned, award-winning publication. In particular, he has focused on the daily impact of regulatory measures such as the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act on CIOs, CMIOs, and other healthcare leaders. He also has provided in-depth coverage on the patient engagement movement, mobile health (mHealth), healthcare data security, and a number of other topics.
Prior to HCI, he wrote articles and blogs for The International Business Times, Exec Digital, Business Review USA, Student Advisor, Blast Magazine and others. He is originally from the Boston area and holds a degree in Journalism from Marist College.
Rajiv Leventhal has a wide range of writing experience, with his most recent work published in three B2B trade magazines in the natural products and dietary supplements field. Rajiv graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Journalism degree and currently lives in New Jersey. Aside from writing, Rajiv enjoys watching sports, working out, being outdoors and spending time with friends.
