The Chicago-based American Medical Association will offer ePrescribing services from Rockville, Md.-based DrFirst through a new online platform the AMA is developing.

The platform, which is currently in beta testing, is aimed at providing physicians access to information, products, services and resources that can facilitate medical practice and ease adoption of evolving health information technologies, says the company. AMA aims to launch the platform in early 2010.

The Health IT Summits gather 250+ healthcare leaders in cities across the U.S. to present important new insights, collaborate on ideas, and to have a little fun - Find a Summit Near You!
