University of Colorado Hospital (Aurora, Colo.), a Rocky Mountain region academic medical center, has implemented NEC Unified Solutions Inc.'s IP/TDM telephony communications network at its new Anschutz Medical Campus.

According to NEC (Irving, Texas), UCH has installed its Univerge Neax 2400 IPX and Univerge Neax 2000 IPS to meet the communication needs of patients and hospital staff. In addition, the company says, the Anschutz Medical Campus has deployed NEC's Univerge SV7000 to provide IP services to staff members and patient rooms in the hospital — this includes NEC's DtermIP deskset and MH140h.
